The Mayhem Classic is the first In-Person Qualifying Event of the 2025 CrossFit Games season. It is taking place in Cookeville, Tennessee on April 5 – 6, 2025 at CrossFit Mayhem.
For the 2025 season, The Mayhem Classic will award invites to the CrossFit Games to the top 2 men and top 2 women in the competition. For these athletes to be eligible for the CrossFit Games, they must also finish in the top 1% of the 2025 CrossFit Open. The athletes who receive their Games Ticket at the Mayhem Classic will be the first two athletes to receive and invite to the 2025 CrossFit Games.
History
This will be the second edition of the Mayhem Classic. In the inaugural event in 2020, the event was won by Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr and Chandler Smith. By winning the competition in 2020, both athletes received an invite to the 2020 CrossFit Games based on the Sanctionals qualifying structure that was in place that season.
Who’s Competing
The 2025 Mayhem Classic will include 20 men and 20 women. The athletes where invited based on the Rogue Points System, which invites athletes based on their past performances at the CrossFit Games, The Rogue Invitational, The CrossFit Open and CrossFit Quarterfinals.
